The star-studded line-up for the first day of the C3AFASG 2018 I Love Anisong Concert is sure to incite plenty of excitement and nostalgia!

Love Live! Sunshine!! Itasha bicycles available for rental in Numazu City!

Visiting Love Live! Sunshine!! pilgrimage (Numazu) sites can be quite a hassle on foot. However, starting from August 1, there will be Aqours’ Itasha bicycles available for rental!

On August 25, Numazu City collaborated with Sankemikaru launched a campaign using Love Live! Sunshine!! Itasha bicycles to increase visibility at night.
Furthermore, these Itasha will be used to promote tourism around the Numazu City.

Love Live! officials are cracking down on copyrighted items and doujinshi. Melon Books have discontinued Love Live related Doujinshi.

 

Love Live! officials have started to crack down on infringed Love Live! products.

Japan’s well-known doujinshi retailer, Melon Books have issued a notice that they’ll be taking down and discontinuing any sales of Love Live! related doujinshi.
It is believed that Melon Books are following up with the addressed announcement by the Love Live! officials.

Melon Books have already removed the Love Live! capsule machines and related doujinshi books goods.

Currently, many doujinshi artists are puzzled on the “boundaries” of the infringement.

Originally, it was thought that the previous announcements were only for counterfeit official goods. However, doujinshi is affected as well.

Pile’s thoughts on μ’sic Forever

Felt it has been a long time since I’ve written such a long blog post.
It has been a year since FINAL LOVE LIVE. The time has been going by so fast.
There were lots of interviews after FINAL LOVE LIVE!, and I thought there will be lots of opportunities to talk about my own feelings about it.
It has been a busy 6 years, but also a fulfilling one. I have gained lots of precious experiences.

Pile’s third album ‘Tailwind (s)’ is related to her fans. 「追い風さん」

Forget about Piler or 816, because “Tailwind” was what Pile named her fans.
During today’s NicoNama broadcasting on Valentine’s Day, Pile announced her third solo album: “Tailwind(s)”. It will be scheduled to release on Apil 26th. The name of the new album was literally translated from the word “Tailwind”.

On January 21th, Aya Uchida revealed that she had performed a vocal cord nodules surgery earlier this year.

During the 4th broadcast of Channel TojiPaiFin, Pile clearly denied the disbandment of μ’s (Muse).

Many fans considered Muse has been inactive since “μ’s Final Love Live!”. Their last one-man live held on 31st March at Tokyo Dome and was virtually dissolved.

One of the membership fans’ email was being selected and read out by Hana Tojima. (Roughly 180+ fans were watching this live 4th broadcast)

Previously, Emi Nitta denied their dissolution during the rehearsal for NHK Kohaku Utagassen. But after μ’s Final Love Live!, the dissolution was not even mentioned again.
This remark by Pile is the first dissolution denial after the μ’s Final Love Live!

この新しいプロジェクトは2015年2月に発表されました、それ以降、新しい情報も出ています。グループユニット名のAqoursは6月に発表され、その後た同時に、3つのユニットの名前、CYaRon!、AZALEAとGuilty Kissも読者投票によって決定しました。とメンバー人気順位の結果も発表されています。その後、7月から日本ではTVアニメが放送スタートしました。

 

このプロジェクトの舞台になった浦の星女学院は、静岡県沼津市の内浦という町にあります。

Aqoursの中から二年生のメンバー（高海千歌役伊波杏樹さん、桜内梨子役逢田梨香子さん、渡辺曜役斉藤朱夏さん）が今回はLove Live! Sunshine!!を宣伝するために、ゲストとして暑いシンガポールに開催するC3 CharaExpo 2016にゲスト出演しました。キャストの皆さんと話す機会があったので、話した内容を見てみましょう！

Love Live! Sunshine!! Aqours Second Year Interview「ラブライブ サンシャイン」「電撃G’s magazine」「Amusu Translation」

In the upcoming Dengeki G’s Magazine issue included the Aqours second-year interview.

The contents included Aqours’ Live activities and also a rare glimpse of opportunity for the second year to share their experiences during their participation of the Love Live! Sunshine!! audition.

Anju inami (aka Anchan) was originally a LoveLiver (*this fact is something that was known to many people), and specifically a Hanayo oshi (fan). Anchan has been to μ’s Live before and once thought that μ’s was an elusive presence.

Furthermore, Anchan was a fresh blood in a seiyuu(voice acting) firm for 2 years. Despite trying out various seiyuu audition, she was still not being selected.

When Anchan first heard about LLSS audition, she decided to give it her very best last shot in voice acting.

Love Live! was one of her dream work, thus Anchan challenged the audition with the accumulated 2 years of experience, and even thought of giving up being a seiyuu if she were to fail in her last audition.

Rikako Aida (aka Rikyako) already likes to listen to μ’s songs, watched the LL anime, and also a Sukufesu(SIF) player like any of us.

Rikyako fell in love with Rikochan the moment she saw a picture of Rikochan during the audition.

Rikyako was once a transfer student and has many similarities with Rikochan.

During the studio audition, Rikyako directly voiced out her interest in voicing Rikochan. “Please let me voice act as Rikochan!”

Rikyako held dearly to her phone every single day till the announcement of the result.

Rokyako’s wish was granted in playing the role of her favourite character, and she hugged her mother while crying in joy.

Shuka Saito (aka Shuchan) first known about Love Live! through SIF. And Shuchan thought that it was impressive for seiyuu to synchronise with the dancing. It was really charismatic.

Shuchan has not officially announced her year of birth, but she revealed that she is the youngest among Aqours members.

Moreover, she was still a Joshi Kousei (high school girl) when she participated in the audition. It was unexpected to be qualified, as originally it was simply a simple motivation to participate in her favourite works.

Shuchan was extremely nervous during the audition. And because this audition will be Shuchan’s lifetime opportunity, she showed her best skills (*She has been learning dancing since elementary school), singing and dancing.

Shuchan performed the Honoka’s part for 「僕らは今のなかで」and expressed that she has memorised the Honoka’s dance steps for「僕らは今のなかで」 !

Nanojolno reveals her thoughts on Love Live! Final Live during her 21st Radio Broadcast [南條 愛乃]

It had been a while since we first knew the news on Final Live (It was also mentioned on her blog before). Due to members’ own busy schedules, not all of the members were present for the rehearsal until the last week before the FL. The supervisor even brought Nanjolno’s favorite Kasitila cake during the rehearsal.

Unfortunately, Muse didn’t manage to finish rehearsing the whole portion of their songs despite practising throughout until the final night.

Thoughts about Love Live! School Idol Project – Muse [ラブライブ！感想]

Love Live! Marked its end on April fools’ Day 2016. It has been 6 years since Love Live started. From a stronghold of 100* Love Liver to a full fledged sold-out concert of 54,000* impeccable Love Liver. (*Rounded value)

In 2013, I myself became a Love Liver. 4 years can be considered as either short or long for some people, however, those 4 years will definitely be one of my best memories. Initially, I wanted to post Feels trip after Season 2 (2014), but was delayed till now.

[In Dec 2014, there were discussions with Love Liver (May/Might not be fully 100% accurate. Sorry for not following up some of the information after 2014). Thanks for the discussion!]

Love Live Officials confirm Nanjolno’s Appearance for Love Live Final Live at Tokyo Dome

The Officials have given the final green-lit for Yoshino Nanjo to participate in Love Live Final 6th Live on 29th of March 2015.

However due to Nanjolno’s knee injuries, there will be an adjustment made to the performances, and there will be a reduction in number of songs Nanjolno will be starred in.

Pile reveals song meaning — “P.S. Arigatou…” (And yes, it’s related to Love Live! Maki Nishikino)

The subtle meaning behind one of the song from Pile’s latest 2nd album, “Pile”. The Officials revealed the PDF version of the album booklet due to printing error, and the lyrics were made known. And the hidden words were in bold for easier identification of the meaning behind the song called “P.S. Arigatou…” (P.S.ありがとう…)

Love Live! Wins Animation Album of the Year and Special Award for the Japan Gold Disc Award 2016

The 30^th Japan Gold Disc Awards, which is one of the prestigious and most extravagant Japan Music awards ceremony of the year organized by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. The news was announced on February 26.

Love Live! μ’s first overseas fan meeting organised by Lantis – Love Live! μ’s Fan Meeting in Shanghai ~Talk & Live~ – was recently held at Shanghai Mercedes Benz Cultural Centre on January 30.

Muse (μ’s) members: Emi Nitta (Honoka Kousaka), Aya Uchida (Kotori Minami), Mimori Suzuko (Umi Sonoda), Pile (Maki Nishikino), Riho Iida (Rin Hoshizora), Sora Tokui (Nico Yazawa) started the prelude with the first song, “Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki”. The audience went wild with excitement and enthusiasm by μ’s mere appearance on stage! The audience were active with responses and interactive in both the self-introduction chat segments and performances. From the beginning, Muse brought the audience into a vortex of exhilaration.

Pile’s first personal live tour – Pinky Parade – was recently held in Japan.
